Nursing and Clinical Services
We are proud to serve all people.
We appreciate the diversity of human beings.
We do not discriminate based on race, age, religion, language, ability, relationship status, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, or immigration status.
Birth control and family planning
We offer a complete range of services including contraceptives, counseling, education, testing and treatment. Our services can be covered by insurance or out-of-pocket payment. Ours is a Title X Clinic, meaning that costs are based on your income using a sliding fee scale.
The Complex Medical Help Program (CMH) helps pay for medical costs associated with caring for children with special needs. This may include fees not paid by Medicaid or private health insurance, reducing your out-of-pocket costs. We provide services for children living in all cities in Cuyahoga County.
Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can reverse an opioid overdose. It is important to carry Naloxone in case of an unexpected emergency. We have two Project DAWN sites where the public can receive Naloxone (Narcan) for free.
The Newborn Home Visiting program provides a home visit by a Registered Nurse to eligible first-time mothers. The nurse offers information about the baby’s health, answers questions and addresses concerns.
PrEP: pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV
PrEP is the medication used to protect individuals from becoming HIV-positive. Medicaid and most private health insurance plans cover the cost of PrEP, including the medication, medical appointments, and lab tests associated with PrEP care.
Reproductive and Sexual Health Clinic
Our clinic staff provides:
- Confidential care
- Services to anyone over the age of 13 without a parent or guardian
- Services using insurance or a sliding scale fee based on your income
No one will be denied care due to inability to pay
Sexually transmitted infections
Testing and treatment are available for many infections, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes HIV, HPV and syphilis. Free pregnancy testing is also available.
Starting Point Special Needs Child Care is a program that helps child care providers and children with medical needs. Our nurses work together with the providers, offering training and guidance about properly caring for each child in the program.
We offer immunizations for infants, children, teens and adults. As a partner in the Vaccine for Children (VFC) program, we are able to provide vaccines at low or no cost to eligible children under age 18. No child under 18 years of age is turned away due to cost.
