The EDI Committee

We are a group made up of people from all areas of the agency.

We work together with the idea of making our workplace an equitable and fair space for clients, partners, residents,
stakeholders and staff.

A Culture of Equity

We aim to create a Culture of Equity at CCBH

Increasing the equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) based knowledge and skills of CCBH staff and community partners

Shaping program priorities to focus on EDI

Instituting organizational policies and procedures that aim to give community residents and CCBH staff what they need to be their healthiest, happiest, and most productive selves.

The five sections below describe the work needed to create a culture of equity.

Advocacy
Put programs, tools, and products in place to help CCBH advocate for fair and equitable health and social policies at the local, state, and national levels

Create an advocacy toolkit for CCBH staff
Develop CCBH policy statements in support of positive changes to laws and policies
Additional efforts to achieve health equity and produce better health outcomes
