Asthma
Asthma is a disease that affects your lungs. It causes episodes of wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness and coughing.
Asthma is the leading chronic illness in children, resulting in more school days missed then all other illnesses combined. The rates of children diagnosed with asthmas have increased significantly over the last 10 years.
Asthmatic episodes are a reaction to a trigger. They may be controlled by medication and avoiding or removing triggers from your environment.

- Cold air
- Dust mites
- Mold
- Pesticides
- Pet dander/hair
- Pollen
- Tobacco smoke
