Overview
This position supports the Health Commissioner in the planning, development, and execution of program, operations, and fiscal strategies that advance the agency in alignment with accreditation, regulatory, and internal policies.
Responsible for monitoring the operation of all agency service areas, while maintaining cooperative working relationships with community groups, health care institutions, government officials, public & private funding sources, social service agencies, mental health agencies, members of the legislative system and local safety forces.

Mr. McRae joined CCBH in 2022 and has provided direction and support for our growing organization.
He works in concert with staff at all levels to ensure the proper administration, consistency and integrity of our operations.
His fifteen years of experience in community health, administration and municipal government include time spent as the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and as Deputy City Manager/Director of Parks, Recreation & Community Services for the City of Evanston, Illinois.
During his time at CCBH, Mr. McRae has been heavily involved with the organization’s strategic planning operations, the agencywide initiative to achieve reaccreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board, and with providing equitable opportunities for staff to realize improved efficiencies and outcomes.
