What is a public health nuisance?

A public health nuisance is a condition on a property that threatens or potentially threatens the health, safety, or well-being of the public, such as:

Accumulation of trash and garbage on a property

Infestation of rodents, insects, or other pests

Sewage on a property

 

Our role

Respond to public health nuisance complaints

Offer resources

Provide education about potential nuisances and prevention
