Overview
Directs and reports a sound financial plan by developing, directing, coordinating and maintaining an integrated financial program, including all financial operations.
Monitors the effectiveness and financial benefits of budget expenditures, provides financial management for capital improvement programs and local/state/federal grants.
Provides appropriate financial and management reports to the Board, including long-range financial projections.
Serves as principal advisor to the Board in all matters related to financial management.

Ms. Wirsching plays an essential role in ensuring the financial health and ongoing functionality of the Cuyahoga County Board of Health.
Her oversight in the development and facilitation of the budget ensures the management of our cash flow and ensures financial strategies that mitigate risk.
She provides guidance and leadership to the CCBH board, directors and agency at large to ensure our fiscal solvency.
Ms. Wirsching has been a CCBH employee for 31 years, with more than 20 of them in the role of Chief Financial Officer.
